Here comes the bride!  I say this because this 1920's headboard frame has been covered with a vintage bridal gown.  The shade has nine panels and is fully lined.  Three of  the panels are covered with an off white lace, pearls, and sequins.  The four side panels are covered with a off white silk chiffon that is made into pulled rosettes which gives a soft pleated look.  The back panel is covered with a off white taffeta.  The trim is a off white French scroll.  Many people are using these over chairs, mirrors and armoires.  I've put a vent for the heat, in the top of the frame incase you decide to use it as a working shade.
